For some patients with diabetes, a special diabetic clinic is held at the surgery to assess, advise and help you to manage your diabetes appropriately.
If you have diabetes and are not under the care of a hospital diabetic centre, you will be invited to our clinic for review, usually annually, although you may be recalled more often.
Prior to the clinic we will write to you with details of your appointment and requesting you organise any necessary blood and urine tests. Please make sure that you have these tests in good time before the clinic.
